The bowlathon held on the 5th/6th March raised the fantastic amount of £3,750 for Cancer research UK.

Thanks to everyone who took part in this novel event and especially Jeff Raine who was the main organiser. Everyone who took part had an enjoyable time.

Ruth Boyd, Senior Research Nurse for Cancer clinical trials at Belfast City Hospital, started the event off and wished all well for the ensuing 24 hours.

Thanks also to all the companies and individuals who gave generously to the ballot prizes.

Well done to our members for helping raise this great amount for such a worthy charity.
